The Vaping Lounge is the heart of Mary Jane's Place — a vapour-only members' lounge where verified UK medical cannabis patients use their own prescribed medicine. It's quiet, lawful and hygienic. These are the house rules that keep it that way.
Six rules. That's it.
Photo ID and proof of prescription (dispensing label or prescriber letter) on your first visit. A valid prescription is required. Once verified, you're a member — no checks after that.
Dry-herb vaporisers only. No flames, no lighters, no rolling papers, no combustion of any kind. This is the legal line, and we hold it.
Use only what you've been lawfully prescribed. We don't sell, share or supply cannabis. Sharing or selling on-site ends your membership immediately.
No phone cameras in the lounge. Don't ask other patients about their condition, prescription or dose — and what's shared in the lounge stays in the lounge. Keep conversation considerate of people medicating for chronic pain or anxiety.
Don't share mouthpieces or devices. Every hire device is fully serviced and cleaned between members. If yours needs a clean, ask — we'll do it on the spot.
Driving on your prescription is lawful, but never while impaired. If you've medicated and aren't sure, ask — we'll help sort a taxi or lift.
What to bring
- Photo ID — passport, driving licence or PASS card.
- Proof of prescription — dispensing label on your packaging, or a prescriber letter. A valid prescription is required.
- Your medicine — in its original, sealed pharmacy packaging.
- A vaporiser, or £5 — bring your own device, or hire one of ours for the session.
After verification
- Just show your member ID at the counter. No paperwork to dig out again.
- Loyalty points are tracked on every visit and purchase — 1 point per £1 spent.
- 10% off equipment and accessories for members, every visit.
- Refer a friend who joins and you both get £10 store credit.
Hot food, proper coffee, all day.
It's a lounge, not a clinic. Fresh coffee, teas, cold drinks and hot food all day, every day we're open. Members earn a loyalty point per pound — food and drink included.

- Freshly ground coffee — espresso, flat white, the lot.
- A proper tea selection, plus herbal and decaf.
- Cold soft drinks, juices and sparkling water.
Hot food & snacks
- Hot food served through the day — comfort food done well.
- Snacks and something sweet for when you've got the munchies.
- Tell us about allergies or dietary needs — just ask at the counter.
Walk-in any session. Hire on arrival.
Drop in any time during opening hours — no booking required for a single session. Saturday evenings and members' events fill up, so pre-booking is recommended for those. Vaporiser hire is £5 a session, and devices include a Mighty+, Tinymight 2, Arizer Solo III or DynaVap (subject to availability), each fully serviced and cleaned between members.
