House rules & terms

The full house rules.

The short version lives on the lounge page. This is the full set — plain, fair, and the same for everyone. They keep the space lawful, safe and welcoming.

1
Membership & verification.

To use your medicine here we check photo ID and proof of a valid UK prescription (a dispensing label or prescriber letter) once, in person. After that you're verified — show your member ID on future visits. You don't need to be a member to visit, shop or have a drink.

2
Vapour only, your own medicine.

Dry-herb vaporisers only — no smoking, flames, lighters or combustion of any kind. Use only what you've been lawfully prescribed, brought in its original packaging. We are not a dispensary: we don't sell, supply, share or store cannabis, and nor do members between themselves.

3
Respect, discretion and the space.

A judgement-free room. No phone cameras and no photos of other patients. Don't ask anyone about their condition, prescription or dose — what's shared in the lounge stays in the lounge. Keep noise and conversation considerate of people medicating for chronic pain or anxiety, and leave the space as you found it.

4
Hygiene.

Don't share mouthpieces or devices. Every hire device is fully serviced and cleaned between members; ask any time and we'll clean yours on the spot.

5
Guests.

Anyone is welcome to come in, sit down and buy a drink, the same as any café. Only the act of using your medicine here needs verification — a non-patient guest simply can't do that part. You're responsible for guests you bring.

6
Getting home.

Driving on a medical cannabis prescription is lawful — there's a statutory medical defence — but never drive while impaired. If you've medicated and aren't sure, ask us and we'll help sort a taxi or lift. See Your Rights for the full legal position.

7
If the rules are broken.

Selling, sharing or supplying on site, smoking/combustion, or behaviour that puts the space or other patients at risk ends your membership immediately. Lesser issues get a quiet word first. We'd always rather have the conversation.

8
Privacy.

We verify once and don't keep your medical records. We don't share your details with clinics, employers or police, and we never ask what you're being treated for. See our privacy policy.

These house rules form part of your membership terms and may be updated from time to time. They're here to keep the space lawful and welcoming for everyone.
