Built by a patient, for patients.
It started with being asked to leave a venue for using a legal, prescribed medicine. So we built a place where that won't happen.
Our story
Our founder is a medical cannabis patient. After being treated like a criminal for taking medicine a specialist had prescribed, they knew patients deserved a proper welcome, not grudging tolerance.
Mary Jane's Place is the result: a calm, safe space where patients can use their medicine, ask questions, try equipment, and meet others who get it.
What we stand for
- No judgment. Patients are treated as patients. Full stop.
- Lawful and transparent. Prescriptions verified, vaporisers only, nothing supplied.
- Discreet and inclusive. Built for dignity and accessibility.
- Genuinely informative. Clear information and proper guidance, as standard.
A safe place for medical cannabis patients to use their medicine, with the information and support to do so with confidence.
More than a lounge
We host education evenings, device demos, and informal peer support. It's a community: patients leave knowing more than when they arrived — about their medicine, their options, and their rights.
A growing model
Prescribed patients are growing in number, yet dedicated spaces stay rare. Mary Jane's Place is built to be a compliant model others can repeat in their own towns — a community network, not a chain.
